Zeppy & Michel Benyo 50 degree Fishing!

Joe AKA "Zeppy" and his son Michel were out on the boat with me on one of the coldest days that I have ever fished in Charlotte Harbor. We decided to do our fishing that day with artificial lures only. Joe has come down from Alaska for the last decade to fish the Sun Shine state with me and we always seem to have great luck even when the conditions are not in out favor.

About 15min in to our frozen fishing trip Joe manages against all odds in the extreme cold to hook a Tarpon! After a long and careful battle on the light tackle of 10lb test line the Tarpon was at the side of the boat. It had made almost a dozen big jumps and Joe did a perfect job applying just the right amount of tension. This fish was around 25 lbs and was an incredible catch on such a cold day.

Joe with the help of his son Michel also landed this huger 12 lb Jack on the light tackle with a small jig. The boys from AK did a fine job!

Feinberg Family Fishing Trip

The Feinberg Boys did one heck of a job on the local fish during their Christmas holiday vacation. Everyone on the crew was able to pull in multiple trophy catches. Their catch included Reds,Snook,Grouper, and many other species of inshore game fish. With out a doubt these guys came to catch fish an that is exactly what they did.
Great job guys! Hope to see you all again soon.

The Big Nasty

The Big Nasty was a Bull Shark that was caught in Boca Pass in Oct. This shark ate a live 33" Jack for bait. We estimated the huge Bull to weigh over 550 lbs. It had a girth measurement of 7 1/2 ft and was over 8 ft long.
This is the largest Bull I have ever had seen caught. It was caught and released by Mike Maxy & Doug Asher
